衣码
在国外买衣服的时候，除了我们熟悉的“S/M/L”国际码，还有一种是数字码。数字码的数字越小，尺寸越小。另外在网上购买的时候，一般都会有Size Guide。
建议：看码数不如看Size Guide，哪怕是以国际码为标准，每一家的衣服大小也很难一致的。再就是，记住下面这几张表也挺难的，还不如就记住自己适合的尺码为好~

说到“S/M/L”国际码，我们都知道S是small“小号”，
L是large“大号”，那M“中号”对应的是哪个单词呢？middle还是medium？
Middle指的是空间或时间上的中间，而Medium是面积，体积大小的中等，所以应该用medium.
这些S码，M码，L码放到句子中应该怎么说？
Salesperson:

Gloria:
Yes, I’m looking for a sweater — in a size medium.
是的，我想找一个中号的毛衣。
Salesperson:
Let’s see…here’s a nice white one. What do you think?

Language notes
Can I help you?or “May I help you?” is what a salesperson normally says to greet a customer.
Can I help you?和May I help you?是售货员常用的向顾客打招呼的用语。
I’m looking for a...here means “I don’t know exactly which one I want.”
I m looking for a...这里表示“我不知道哪一个是我想要的”
Size medium.Clothing usually comes in small, medium and large sizes. Some women’s clothing comes in number sizes, usually ranging from 2 to 16.
Size medium.衣服通常分小号，中号，大号。有些女性衣服是以数字分号的，通常是从2到16。
Let’s see…An expression used when a person wants to think something over to make a choice or decision, or to look for something.
Let s see...是当一个人想仔细考虑某个决定，或找某个东西的时候说的话。
I’d rather have itin here means “I don’t like this exact one. I would prefer it in a different color/size/material,” etc.
I d rather have it在这里表示“我不喜欢这件，我更喜欢别的颜色、尺寸或者材料等等”
Would you like to…?is a polite way to ask “Do you want to…?”
Would you like to...?是一种问别人想要什么的礼貌表达方式
Try it onmeans to test the fit or appearance of a garment by putting it on. “Try on” is a separable phrasal verb, so the object “it” goes between “try” and “on.”
Try it on的意思是通过试穿来测试它是否合身或者检查一下材质。try on是一个动词词组，所有宾语it在try和on中间。
How much is it?means “How much does it cost?” Notice that the main sentence stress falls on “is” in this question.
How much is it?意思是“这个东西花多少钱？”注意整个句子重心在is上。
I’ll take itmeans “I will buy it.”
I ll take it意思是“我会买这件”
